When John and Susie Harmon, (the new owners of Laurel Ridge Country Club) purchased the resort community, they knew that they had one of the most beautiful pieces of heaven on earth and they wanted to change the focus of their marketing to reflect the amenities and the lifestyle that comes with home ownership at the private club – while maintaining the promotion of the championship golf available there.

More than an Award-Winning Golf Community
Susie Harmon wanted to continue promoting the great tradition of golf there, but felt that the old website needed to present more of what golf membership could present new members – AND she wanted to promote Laurel Ridge Country Club as a wonderful place to hold mountain weddings, receptions and event catering, etc.
Laurel Ridge can accommodate large or small events including wedding ceremonies and receptions, business conferences, class reunions, community events and parties. Their indoor banquet facilities can accommodate from 25-300 guests; their Outdoor Post & Beam Pavilion accommodates up to 300 guests overlooking the golf course with a stone fireplace, rustic bar and room for a dance floor…and they have a Professional chef and staff that can make it all a culinary success.
